what a muddy week!

oh how i need it to be friday night after busy busy times at nest!

in amongst a week of 

making some custom orders for some very special & creative businesses 

{will share the ways they have chosen to use my mud tags later, amazing ideas!},

helping out at school & running around with the boys,

excitedly loading up a new 'mud by nest' online store {more later on that!}

planning our garage sale for the the weekend {!why!},

mud orders going off to some divine new retail stores,

spending way too much time playing on instagram {!}

cleaning the nest..

do you have a cleaning 'routine' in your nest?

perhaps you clean on an as needed basis, or way past needed basis!

perhaps you have a set cleaning day, or maybe you have someone else do it for you?!

i have a hate-love bug with cleaning - hate to clean, love the end result!
i guess i am not alone, tho i do know people that love to clean!

my cleaning is usually done in bits & pieces here & there as needed, & sometimes i admit
way past needed.  i felt i was cleaning to no avail most of the time, so since school started
back i have tried to bring some routine to my weeks, scheduling thursdays as my
'must clean the nest' day - a power clean where i get everything done in one hit
- & i have been loving an entire clean nest at once, well until school is out at least!

 but, today is thursday & it has been one of those days where i have found way more
 important things to do than clean! fancy that!

 i love this image i had in my files, could not be more relevant for me today!

oh, at times i wish the magic cleaning fairy would fly thru my nest &
 sprinkle the 'magic clean' in each room!

feathering my nest..

hello & welcome back to my nest!

i have had a wonderful break & thought it time to get back to work & feather my nest!

my site has become a little muddy of late {which i am loving & having loads of fun playing with:)} but in bringing 'mud by nest' together with 'nest styling' this year i will blog more ideas, words & bits n' pieces to inspire you to sort & feather your own nest.

there will be no set days of blogging but there will be a return of some favourite
topics like 'meaning to do monday' & 'feathering your nest friday'

and of course there will still be a few little updates now & then on my little mud pieces!

here is a fabulous idea to kick off some inspiration!

i have been using my boys old white change table to store my clay tags & was close to
selling my cot until i found this idea! 

isn't it amazingly creative & a perfect piece for a little-big-kids nest?

think i might have to keep my cot now to make one for the boys, i'm inspired!

my last markets are finished for the year

since winding down for the year i have found time to read

my favourite magazine that has been waiting patiently beside my bed for me to read...

summer holidays for me are always about family & the beach!

i am spoiled everyday to fossick along the gorgeous seaside.  it is the best playground in the world for the children to play & to clear the mind & refill with inspirations!
 i just love it.

so much so that i couldn't wait to give you a peep of things to come for
