they are as i saw the sunrise this morning, just stunning!

it is such nice thing to take the time to just stop 

& see the beauty in things..

i am off with my mud this weekend for my first 'nest' market for the year beside the 

seaside, enjoying the gorgeous sunshine we have at the moment..

hoping your weekend in full of sunshine too, even if the sun isn't shining!

this morning i found this beautiful sign from Emporium Housewares {here} & i 

thought the saying was a perfect sentiment for 'feather your nest friday'!

what beautiful thing can you do to make your nest beautiful for the weekend?

light some gorgeous candles, dust your best dinner set or crystal glasses in the display cabinet 

& use for a meal, make your bed with lovely fresh linen, pick some flowers from the garden 

- taking the time to do a beautiful thing in your nest will make you feel beautiful!

what one nice thing can you do to feather your nest for the weekend that will make you smile?

it may be picking some nice flowers from the garden & popping them in small vases around your home {it is lovely to have a small vase in your bathroom & laundry},
 re-display some photo frames
{sometimes just repositioning something to a different focal point in the room changes an item from something you just look at to something you actually see & enjoy!},
put out some nice candles to light around the room for the evening,
sort thru your music & make a playlist of songs you love but haven't heard for a while,
move your laundry powder into a gorgeous big jar & have on display in your laundry
 or change all your bedlinen fresh for the weekend - throw on some nice cushions to dress it up!

some times taking a little bit of time & effort to do something little
makes you feel a huge bit of happiness,
& why shouldn't you feather your own nest?
