Happy Easter! it is day 5 of holidays - chocolate, family, friends, food, wine, chocolate, sunshine, beach, chocolate, relaxing, fun & did i mention a little chocolate?! we enjoyed lots of laughs & relaxation in our sunny spot under the tree most of the weekend, even at night the lanterns light up & the candles are lit!
our little mud friends even joined in our celebrations..

special occasions are always a great reason to dust off some of the nicer bits & pieces like glassware, dinner sets, cutlery & platters that we may be fortunate to have hidden away in our cupboards. it seems such a shame to keep it all hidden away & used on rare occasions so why not keep it out & use the nice stuff more often! nice stuff doesn't necessarily mean expensive or matching, it may just be something sentimental, a piece bought somewhere special or just a glass you love - it can make you feel happy to make an effort to dress a table or just use the nice things more often! i have recently inherited my Nanna's entire best dinner set, less some plates & tea cups as she loved drinking from them. although i do not have the full set to use myself, i just love that she actually used her own nice pieces often because they made her happy.
